Company source records

The maintained Company service derives records from public sources, including PPP-era source data. Records can be old or incomplete. A record identifies a business to research; it is never a claim that the company is for sale.

Brokerage listing observations

A listing preserves its brokerage source, source-local identity, observed payload, and freshness. Failed collection leaves the last successful snapshot visible and does not turn a temporary failure into removal.

Estimates and reported figures

Estimated revenue or earnings are deterministic models with methodology and confidence, not audited financials, appraisals, or verified seller figures. Buyer-uploaded statements remain reported evidence with page, sheet, or cell references.

Saved snapshots

Saving a source result creates an account-owned snapshot. Later source changes do not rewrite private notes, financial versions, scenarios, offers, or the evidence that supported a past decision.
