Whichever tool you use, it connects to the same place — with a browser sign-in where the tool supports it, or a scoped API key where it doesn't:

Run the diligence skills #

Once connected, ask your agent to run one of SoloSearcher's 38 built-in skills against a company — valuation, earnings quality, owner assessment, lender cash flow, and the rest. See Skills for what each one needs and when it opens up. Your own prompts sit alongside them and run the same way.

Your agent does the analysis, not us. SoloSearcher hands it the prompt, a snapshot of the company, and the extracted text of that company's uploaded documents; your agent reasons over that and writes the finished report back onto the company record. Running the same skill again adds a version rather than replacing the last one, so you keep what you concluded and when.

Saving the report requires read-and-write access. A read-only connection can still run any skill — it just returns the analysis to you in the assistant instead of storing it.

Once stored on the company rather than in a chat transcript, the result stays next to the notes, contacts, and financials for that company — and your pipeline stays reviewable months later.

You stay in control #

A connection runs as you, so it can only ever see your own data — never another user's. Both a browser connection and a key only do what you deliberately allowed: you choose read-only or read-and-write when you connect, and what to grant when you create a key. Neither can delete records — delete is not available to any connection; removing something stays in the app. Requests are recorded in the product audit trail.

SoloSearcher sends your data only to the AI you connected — what that assistant does with it afterward is governed by its own privacy terms, the same as anything else you show it.

Turn off a connection #

Instantly: one click under Connected apps, or revoke a key under Active keys — both on the Settings → Connections page. Access ends immediately.
